Description
Boiled linseed oil is a natural product pressed from the seeds of the flax plant and is regularly used to impregnate wood products to protect them from various weather influences. After drying, boiled linseed oil is not harmful to humans, animals and the environment and is therefore safe to use in your garden.
The linseed oil can be processed in various ways.
- Thinned with white spirit, using a plant sprayer.
- Undiluted, using a large block brush.
Before applying the linseed oil, the surface should be clean, dry and grease-free. Allow the linseed oil to penetrate for about 30 minutes. Are there still dull and dry spots after this time? Then treat these again. Then let the linseed oil dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours.
1 litre of linseed oil is sufficient to treat 5 m² of fence.
